SellerScorer respects your privacy and is committed to handling information responsibly. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, browser extension, dashboard, and related services.
Information we collect
We may collect account and contact information, subscription status, service settings, support communications, and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and diagnostic logs. When you analyze or save a product, SellerScorer may also process the ASIN, product details, prices, calculated results, item number, notes, tags, and supplier source links needed to provide the features you request.
How we use information
We use information to create and administer accounts, deliver product analysis and sourcing tools, process subscriptions, maintain saved settings, provide customer support, monitor service reliability, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve the performance and security of SellerScorer.
Browser extension data
SellerScorer does not collect your general browsing history. The extension processes information from supported Amazon product pages, and other pages only when you deliberately use a SellerScorer feature there. This information is used solely to provide analysis, save information at your direction, or complete an action you request.
Service operations and restricted access
Research associated with your account is not visible to other SellerScorer customers. Human access to personal or sensitive user data is prohibited except when you provide explicit consent for support involving specific data, when access is necessary to investigate security or abuse, when required by law, or when data has been aggregated and anonymized for permitted internal operations. Any permitted access is limited to authorized personnel and the information reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Connected services and payments
If you connect Amazon, Google, or another supported service, information is accessed through that provider's approved authorization flow and within the permissions presented to you. You may disconnect an integration at any time. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; SellerScorer does not store your complete payment card number.
Sharing and disclosure
SellerScorer does not sell or rent your personal information or research data. We may share limited information with trusted infrastructure, analytics, payment, and support providers that process it on our behalf and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect SellerScorer, our users, or the public.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
SellerScorer's use and transfer of information received through Chrome extension APIs and Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. User data is used only to provide or improve SellerScorer's disclosed product-analysis features, is not used for personalized advertising, and is not transferred to data brokers or used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Residual copies may remain temporarily in secure backups.
Your choices and rights
You may disconnect the extension or connected services at any time. You may also request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements. Deleting information may limit or prevent continued use of certain SellerScorer features.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as SellerScorer develops or as legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by another appropriate method.
